Hello, and welcome to my recommendation page. This page will be a listing of products and services that I use on a daily or almost daily basis.
I will receive a small commission if you purchase any items by clicking the links below. (Minus Upside, MyPoints & Morning Brew, which are FREE for you.) By purchasing other items below, you will be helping to support me in creating new helpful websites and building up the ones I currently have.
First off, let’s start with something FREE. – The Upside App. Gas prices are getting out of hand, and here is an app I use every time I fill up with gas. You select the location (gas station) close to you, which will let you ‘check in’ and then fill up, and you can get cash back on every gallon.
You can also use it on other purchases from stores or restaurants. Then when you start getting cash in the app, you can use that to purchase gift cards or send the money to your PayPal or bank account. Filling up, stocking up, and dining out has never been so rewarding. You won’t find better cash-back offers.
Download the UpSide app today and start earning on your everyday purchases.
Here is something else that is FREE. Morning Brew – The daily email newsletter covering the latest news from Wall St. to Silicon Valley. Informative, witty, and everything you need to start your day. Become Smarter In Just 5 Minutes. Get the daily email that makes reading the news enjoyable. Stay informed and entertained for free.
I have been subscribed since 2018. It’s been a nice quick read first thing in the mornings to catch up on what’s happening worldwide. So click on the Morning Brew link to get signed up.
Next up is another FREE program called MyPoints. I have been a member since 2005. All you need to do is sign up, then they will ask you questions to understand your likes, and then they will start sending you emails. Typically you will get about one to four emails a day.
Once you receive the emails, you need to click the ‘Get Points’ button at the bottom, let the page open and load, then close the page and delete the email. That’s all.
You will get 5 points per email clicked, and then when you get enough points, you can redeem them for gift cards. Yes, you can refer your friends and get more points; you can also go shopping and earn more points. I click on each email to get my five free points. I don’t make many purchases from an email unless it’s something I already use. For example, when I purchase TurboTax yearly, I use MyPoint to get a discount and receive extra points. Now, just doing that, I get enough points to get about 2 $50 gift cards a year. I usually get food, so it’s two nice dinners out.
Just click on any of the MyPoints links to get signed up.
If you would like to learn how to build a website and make some money, I also have two other recommendations for where I get my Domain Names and where I do my Hosting of those Domains.
I like to use NameCheap for purchasing my Domain Names, mainly because I have gotten most of my Domains for about $2.88/yr.
Now Hosting, this is basically where your www.mysite.com files are stored. Most people will recommend something like HostGator, BlueHost, or GoDaddy. Why? Because that’s what everyone says is good and they are very cheap. But if you start researching these, you will soon find that many people can’t stand customer support. (pssst, it isn’t very good.)
That and they tend to cram a lot of people onto one server, and then your site’s performance suffers. I use Hostwinds. They also have a cheap shared hosting platform if you are starting out and possibly on a tight budget.
Their customer support has been top-notch as far as I am concerned. I purchased the more expensive dedicated hosting from Hostwinds, but only because I have many sites, and the performance is much higher. Whenever I have a question or a technical issue, I can get answers generally in less than an hour, most of the time right that minute. I say an hour only because sometimes I have technical questions that require an escalation to a tech team member.
One last quick note here as well. I use Pinterest and Instagram for some of my marketing to promote my sites. Managing all of that takes up a lot of time. Some people hire someone to manage their social media accounts, but many use an app like Tailwind to manage and schedule most of our content. Managing your Pinterest and Instagram accounts is simple and easy, especially if you want to enter the blogging world.

Another product I love using almost daily is Bird Scooters. They are cheap and just a crap ton of fun to ride around downtown on my lunch breaks or an afternoon work break. If you Sign up with Bird, please use my Code ZWRBVZO
Not only do you get a Free ride for signing up with my code, but I also get a free ride.
PrettyLitter’s lightweight litter monitors feline health by changing colors when it detects abnormalities in your cat’s urine. Cats Are Notorious for Hiding Illnesses
PrettyLitter changes color to tell you when your cat has a potential health issue, so you can get them help before it becomes an urgent medical situation. Our silica litter (crystal litter) could save you big money on expensive vet bills and save your cat’s life.
I just switched to PrettyLitter for our cat and wish I had switched a long time ago. PrettyLitter has been so much better. It absorbs the urine instead of making a huge clump to scoop out like other brands. All you do is scoop out the poop and then stir up the rest, and it just absorbs and dries itself out. You use one bag for the month and then change out the entire thing at the end of the month. You will get a free bag if you sign up with my link.
GrubHub+ (For FREE)
Here’s a bonus freebie for anyone that uses GrubHub. If you have an Amazon Prime account, you can get GrubHub+ for FREE. You have to first log in to your Amazon Prime account, search for Grubhub and then activate it from inside Amazon Prime. Once activated, go to your GrubHub app, log out, and log back in with your Amazon account, and BOOM, free GrubHub+.
Hungry? Try Grubhub! Use my link on your first order, and we’ll both get $10 off.
